Was able to witness the revival tour last saturday night. I haven’t seen Ben Nichols of Lucero since 2001 at the Young Avenue Deli in Memphis TN. The filling Station was the perfect venue, and the band let it be known. I think they are playing in Portland tonight at the Hawthorne. Check out some shots taken at an earlier show on tour. I knew what Ben Nichols was capable of. But I have to say that Chuck Ragan let out. How the hell do you sing like that for 30 days on tour, let alone 10 years of singing.
